Who where has gotten snow this year? We're up to 8" here in Arkansas, and we already had another storm earlier this year that dumped about 6" on us, then stayed around 10 degrees for a week.
I took a picture you can see it compared to something, I took this around 1 when I was going to lunch, it's coming down harder now then it has all day.
It snowed near me, though I didn't see any. I did notice ice on the ground. It's impressive because I live in Orlando Flroida.
Here in the great white north of Nova Scotia things have been surprisingly green. No snow out today, or the last week or so. When it snows it is light blankets. The ice over the river I live on isn't even fully frozen yet. This time last year the ice fishing huts dotted the ice. Now there are none. All december we had no snow and just a bit this month. I was out in a t-shirt today doing yard work (although I'm canadian and my balls will boil liquid nitrogen from 100 yards) so it's been very nice feeling the effects of global warming this winter.

It snowed here today and yesterday. We got two or three inches, which is a lot for Texas. Lots of ice, too.

When did this forum officially die?
It's been a while. Within the last year we slowed down the most.
There was a couple month period roughly a year, maybe two years ago when we all got really motivated to do something about it, then nothing ever really happened.
I move for a motion to re-motivate. I really like it here. It's relaxing but just a smidge too quiet.
It's hard to get members without having a niche in something.
Unless we have some reason for people to start joining, there is a general area on every forum on the net.
